LIFE IS FRAGILE
I want you to be with Me just for a while today.
Let’s talk about what concerns you.
When you give some thought to your concerns,
they pale when you know what I endured for you.
That is not said to give you a guilt trip,
but to help provide a background and a context
in which you can view your concerns.
If today I were to call you home to Me
and you knew you were going to be with Me forever,
what would be your attitude towards your concerns.
In the light of eternity, all earthly concerns melt away.
Therefore, place your trust in Me just for today.
It may be all you have.
The concerns of your life assume longevity.
Longevity can never be assumed!
That is presumption!
Living with Me through the sanctifying presence
of My Holy Spirit just for today, or for the morning
or for the next minute is all that you can do.
You do not know the hour when the bell tolls for you.
In many respects viewing life in this manner is quite freeing. You live knowing that in an instant
all of your concerns can become meaningless.
Your concerns must be dealt with
on a moment-to-moment basis only.
Some can be resolved within moments.
Others may take days.
Still others may take years.
There are many that may never be resolved.
The overriding issue of your life must be,
“Are you living with Me at the core of who you are?”
If you are nothing else matters.
Everything becomes secondary.
If you are living in the present moment with Me,
then the deadlines and time pressures
you place on yourself disappear.
The only time there is becomes My time.
That is when all problems and concerns of your life
will be resolved.
You still act and respond responsibly to the events of your life. Indeed, you are responsible for your actions.
You are not responsible for anyone else’s actions.
They must learn as you have
to have Me at the core of their being just for today.
Do not sit in judgment of others
handing them a list of shoulds and musts
if they are to be forgiven by you for all of their misdeeds.
The prudent pattern to follow is to ask forgiveness
for your own insensitive actions
and to freely give forgiveness to those who hurt you.
These are My ways for you to live:
Live in the moment.
That is all you have.
Realize that I must be at the core of who you are.
Surrender each moment
to the will of the Holy Spirit in your life.
Do not sit in judgment of others.
That is My job.
Forgive others as you would like to be forgiven.
Harboring anger and grudges wastes energy
and pulls you further and further away from Me.
Remember that I love everyone unconditionally.
I may not like their actions.
They may be sinful.
However, if they ask for forgiveness,
I give it freely as long as My Holy Spirit, who reads all hearts, judges that repentance as being genuinely heart felt.
Follow these rules just for today.
You and I will be together and every day.
Live with Me at the core of your being.
Follow My ways of life.
Learn from the terminally ill!
Once they have come to grips with their mortality,
they have My perspective on life.
Peace flows through them.
They have learned a great secret.
The next moment does not have
an iron clad guarantee that it will exist.
