BROKEN IMAGES – NEW LIFE
There is more, much more to Me than you will ever understand. You smug ones think you have Me wrapped around your finger. Look and you will see your finger has disappeared. You will learn that your fantasy of controlling Me has died.
Do not despair, though, My misguided, faithful ones. Your work on My behalf has not gone unnoticed. Look again. You will see that I have you carved in the palm of My hand.
All of you, whose image of Me is being destroyed, rejoice. That was but an image. It was not real. Now you are free to really come to know Me.
I am alive beneath the image of Me on the cross. Why do these statues bleed? They are showing you that I live and nothing more.
Why are statues of My mother weeping? She is showing you that she lives. For those who grasp what I desire for them, her tears are tears of joy. For those who do not choose Me, they are tears of sorrow.
The bottom line for all is that these tears demonstrate in tangible, human terms that I am alive.
I am God, the Most Holy Spirit. I am a live person with whom you can relate intimately. Come to Me. Be open to Me.
Say,
“Yes, Lord. You are welcome in My soul. I believe. I want you in My life. Relate to me. Show me your love. Come in. Come in.”
My friends, do I sound like an image? I am a live, vibrant being. I know you inside out. There is nothing about you I do not know. I created you. I have been with you in your most secret moments.
I know your most shameful thoughts. I know the desires you’ve had that so shame you that you would die if anyone know of them. My friends, I not only know them; I forgive you for having these shame filled impulsive desires.
Not only do I forgive you, I love you. Do not be afraid of Me. I already know your prayerful requests. When you come to Me, just be with Me. I’ll do all the rest.
Thank Me for destroying your image of Me. Step out in faith and begin to discover the real Me. I think you will love Me right away. That’s how lovable I am. Once you come to Me, you will not be able to resist Me. I promise you that what I am telling you in the silence of your heart is true. You will see. You will see what I mean.
