THE DIAMOND AND THE JEWELER
A diamond shines brightly under the jeweler's light.
Under his magnified gaze he sees its true beauty
even with its imperfections.
I am The Jeweler.
You are the diamond in the rough.
I cleanse your surface so that you shine brightly.
Here is where I differ from the jeweler.
Under the magnified gaze of My Most Holy Spirit
I see the beauty of your soul as well as its imperfections.
As the Master Jeweler I set about the task
of purifying these imperfections.
I reach beneath the surface of your diamond.
I lift these imperfections out of you
so that you may be more pleasing to Me.
A diamond left on a shelf gathers dust.
It loses its luster.
The same is true of your soul.
If ignored its beauty becomes marred from within.
It is no longer a pretty sight to see.
You can cover its lack of luster with all sorts of worldly possessions, but the inner scars and imperfections grow worse
each day you ignore the eye of the Master Jeweler.
In what shape is your diamond?
Has it been subject to neglect?
When was the last time you subjected it to My Loving Gaze?
Do you need a new appraisal by Me?
Only you can surrender to My Gaze.
Only you can take off the veils of your soul.
I know the imperfections that lie within you.
You do not truly know them.
Are you willing to face your inner self?
Come to Me in love.
I am at least as loving as you are.
In case you've forgotten, I am Love.
I am Forgiveness.
I am Gentle.
I am your Savior.
I will never hurt you.
Let Me lift these imperfections out of you.
Let My Light shine fully within you
so that it may shine fully through you.
Then you will be My jewel.
I will place you in My firmament for all to see.
