WHAT IS THE WILL?
What is the will?
How do you know it exists?
In what ways does your will manifest itself in your daily life?
Let's talk about these questions.
What is the will?
The will is the manifestation of the power of Me, the One Triune God.
I seek to draw you into the true self
I envisioned when I created you.
It is My call to all that you are to return
to My ways for you in all that you do.
I did not create you to besad, lonely and despairing.
I did not create you to be angry, bitter and resentful.
I did not create you to be sinful.
I did not create you to be ruled by negative mindsets.
I did not create you to be worldly.
These are the chains of satan.
They keep you his prisoner.
They lock you into degradation and despair.
Free will is My special gift to humanity.
It can be used for good or evil depending on a multitude of variables.
Your body may have addictive tendencies.
You do the very things you do not wish to do.
These tendencies control your will.
It is no longer free.
It is a slave to these addictive tendencies.
Your mind creates the world in which you live.
Your world is unique and individual.
It is a sum total of all of your life experiences.
Your mind creates your overarching "schema."
It runs how you act.
Your experiential base limits you mind.
It is confined by your humanity.
The effects of Original Sin flaw your mind.
Your emotions are chemically based it is true.
Your mind creates the habitual ways of thinking.
These thoughts impact on your emotions.
Garbage in your mind translates into garbage in your emotional life. Negative thinking generates negative feelings.
This leads to depression and despair.
Your actions grow out
of the patterns of your mind, body and emotions.
Your humanity, flawed as it is, leads you
to imprisonment and self-destruction.
That is the sum total of your humanity.
It is following its path of least resistance.
It is not a pretty picture.
I have traced a basic outline.
Of course there are many factors
that you inherit at conception that set the basic tone
of who you are and how you interpret life's events.
Your inherited characteristics impact
on your body, mind and emotions.
I live within you.
You do not recognize Me.
You cannot see Me or touch Me.
Many believe I do not exist.
The fact is that I do.
I work from within you.
I seek to correct the lies of your mind.
I mellow out the emotions these lies create.
I strengthen your will to see truth.
I am the barrier against self-destruction.
I live within each human being.
I am the eternal corrective factor.
I bring hope.
I change mind sets.
I lead you to becoming free.
I correct the distortions of your false self.
I lead you to the truth of the being I created.
I am the Missing Peace of your humanity.
I call to you across the darkness of your world.
You know this.
You've heard this call in the silence of your heart.
In desperation you call back,
"My God! My God! Why have You forsaken Me?"
I hear that call.
I rush in and begin a vigorous training program.
I train you from within you.
I begin to strengthen your will.
I empower you to begin to seek after Me.
You do a series of push-ups.
You begin to counteract your negative thoughts.
I instill the cry of the Pony Engine in you,
"I think I can. I think I can. I think I can."
I enter into those moments
when you seek relief from inner pain by addictive behaviors.
I help you make Me your addiction of choice.
I let you experience the "rush of Me" within you.
You begin to sense there is something better.
I become the better way to ease your pain.
I help you see that being addicted to Me is
healthier for you than the addictions you now pursue.
Thus, you try Me for one day at a time.
It is not long before you are hooked.
I also attack the lies of your schema.
It keeps you imprisoned.
You turn to Me as your addiction of choice.
I bring all of your mindsets into question.
One by one I help you confront the lies.
I teach you that they that grew from your life.
These experiences have created a false you.
You know them so well.
I need not repeat them.
However, in case you've forgotten, here are a few:
I am ugly.
I am stupid.
I am no good.
I hate me.
I hate (so and so)
I hate God.
There is no God.
What's the use?
Life stinks.
WHY ME?
I think you get the idea.
I help you to learn to freely choose to put down those lies.
I help you put them all to rest.
I show you that you are what you think.
I inspire you to change what you think.
As a result your emotions change.
Your thought patterns change.
I bring hope.
I instill self- love
I empower trust in My ability.
I make a difference within you.
You WILL yourself to throw off
the web of self-destruction woven about you
by the master of negativity.
You WILL yourself to come to Me, to talk to Me
and to trust in My way not your ways.
One by one together we break the chains that bind you.
You WILL yourself to freedom one day at a time.
I have come to bring you new life.
If you believe then you shall live.
It is MY WILL to set the captives free.
